JOB TITLE: FMCG SALES REPRESENTATIVE (DELIVERY RIDER)

NATURE OF JOB: FULLTIME

SALARY: KSHS. 27,000 PLUS COMMISSIONS

JOB LOCATION: NAIROBI, NAKURU & NYERI

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales & Customer Engagement:

• Promote and sell FMCG products directly to retailers, wholesalers, and end-users.
• Identify new sales opportunities and route expansion strategies.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
• Execute in-store merchandising and product placement as per brand guidelines.

Product Delivery:

• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to clients as per order schedule.
• Load, transport, and deliver goods safely and efficiently using a company-provided motorcycle.
• Collect customer payments (where applicable) and issue receipts in line with company policy.

Reporting & Documentation:

• Maintain accurate records of sales, delivery notes, returns, and client feedback.
• Prepare and submit daily route reports, sales summaries, and stock reconciliation reports.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the warehouse for replenishment.

Compliance & Safety:

• Ensure all goods are handled properly to avoid damage and loss.
• Adhere to road safety regulations and company transportation policies at all times.
• Keep the motorcycle in good condition and report any faults for maintenance.

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

• Diploma or Certificate in Sales and Marketing or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a motorbike salesman in the FMCG industry
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets in a similar role
• Valid Motorcycle License – Class A
• Valid Driving License – Class C
• Certificate of Good Conduct and updated rider’s insurance (an added advantage)
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
• Good knowledge of local geography and assigned routes
  
• Ability to work independently and under minimal supervision
