DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain lawns, gardens, flower beds, and hedges, ensuring they are healthy and well-kept.
- Regularly water plants, mow the lawn, trim shrubs, weed flower beds, and remove dead or overgrown vegetation.
- Clean outdoor areas, including pathways, driveways, verandas, and other exterior spaces.
- Collect and dispose of garden waste and litter appropriately.
- Operate and maintain gardening tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
- Apply fertilizers and pesticides as required, following safety procedures.
- Monitor the garden for signs of pests or disease and report any concerns promptly.
- Assist with planting new flowers, trees, or vegetables as needed.
- Carry out minor landscaping tasks and seasonal garden care (e.g., pruning, mulching).
- Report any maintenance issues in the garden or outdoor areas to the supervisor.
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Proven experience in gardening, landscaping, or grounds maintenance
- Ability to use and maintain common gardening tools (e.g., lawnmower, shears, hosepipe, rake, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of plant care and maintenance
- Physically fit and able to perform outdoor manual work for extended periods
- Honest, hardworking, and punctual
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
- Residing near Gigiri or willing to commute
