Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Hand Loom Weavers to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for using a hand loom to weave fabrics and textiles. The candidate should have experience in setting up and operating a hand loom, as well as a keen eye for detail and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate a hand loom to weave fabrics and textiles
• Choose appropriate yarns, threads, and fabrics for each project
• Create and interpret design patterns for weaving
• Monitor and adjust loom settings to ensure the correct tension and weave
• Inspect finished products for quality and make any necessary repairs
• Clean and maintain the hand loom and work area
• Maintain records of materials used, project specifications, and completed work
• Collaborate with designers, artists, and other team members as necessary

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a hand loom weaver
• Knowledge of different fibers, yarns, and fabrics
• Ability to interpret design patterns and translate them into woven fabrics
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain consistent quality standards
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• High school diploma or equivalent
