The IT Consultant will be responsible for providing technical support and deployment services for company software solutions. The role involves both field and office work—ensuring successful system installations, training, and ongoing customer support while maintaining high service standards.

Job Description/Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
1. System Installation & Configuration
o Install and configure Windows operating systems and all necessary drivers on PCS.
o Install and configure SQL Server databases.
o Set up network connections between devices
2. Database Administration
o Manage and maintain databases, including backup, restore, and performance tuning.
o Write and execute scripts for data correction, reporting, and maintenance tasks.
3. Reporting
o Design, customize, and troubleshoot Crystal Reports used POS/ERP applications
o Collaborate with the software team to generate accurate and timely business reports.
4. Customer Support & Training
o Provide on-site and remote support to clients after installation.
o Train users (including non-technical personnel) on POS system operation and basic troubleshooting.
o Offer prompt and professional customer service to ensure client satisfaction.
5. Networking & Hardware Support
o Set up and troubleshoot LAN/Wi-Fi networks, routers, switches
o Diagnose and resolve hardware-related issues with PCs and POS peripherals.
6. Documentation & Compliance
o Document all installations and configurations for deployed hardware.
o Maintain accurate records of site visits, system updates, and client feedback.
Required Qualifications:
· Education:
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
· Experience:
o At least 2 years’ experience in IT support or system installation roles.
o Experience in POS/ERP installation and configuration will be a strong advantage.
