South B Hospital is seeking to engage a qualified and experienced to support service delivery in the Locum NurseOutpatient (OPD) Department.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, triage, and provide quality nursing care to patients in the OPD.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and assist during resuscitation procedures.
- Monitor patients' conditions and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
- Collaborate with clinicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.
- Uphold infection prevention, patient safety, and quality standards.
Requirements
- Diploma or or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from a recognized institution.
- Valid registration and current practicing license from the Nursing Council of Kenya.
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; ACLS certification will be an added advantage.
- At least one (1) year of experience in an Outpatient and/or Accident & Emergency setting.
- Excellent clinical assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
