DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

·       Attend to male and female students presenting with illnesses, injuries, or other medical concerns.

·       Conduct holistic nursing assessments, including taking medical histories and vital signs.

·       Provide appropriate treatment and nursing care within the scope of professional practice.

·       Administer prescribed medications appropriately and maintain accurate medication records.

·       Monitor students' conditions and provide follow-up care where required.

·       Provide first aid and respond appropriately to medical emergencies.

·       Record students' medical information, vital signs, treatment provided, and medications administered accurately and confidentially.

·       Consult and coordinate with the Doctor on Duty when further assessment, diagnosis, treatment, or referral is required.

·       Provide supervision and guidance to clinic support staff when required.

·       Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised clinic environment.

·       Ensure appropriate handling and availability of medical supplies and equipment.

·       Maintain confidentiality of all student medical information.

·       Adhere to professional nursing standards, clinic procedures, and relevant health and safety requirements.

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

·       Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSc Nursing) from a recognised institution.

·       Minimum of 3 years' relevant nursing experience.

·       Valid professional registration/licence and practising certificate, where applicable.

·       Certificate(s) from recognised professional or healthcare institutions.

·       First Aid and/or Basic Life Support certification is an added advantage.

·       Strong clinical assessment and nursing skills.

·       Good knowledge of basic treatment and medication administration.

·       Ability to work independently and exercise sound clinical judgement.
