- Plan, schedule, and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance works across the facility.
- Conduct regular inspections of buildings, machinery, equipment, electrical systems, plumbing, and mechanical installations to identify repair needs.
- Ensure timely troubleshooting and resolution of maintenance issues to minimize operational downtime.
- Monitor maintenance schedules and ensure all tasks are completed according to operational requirements and safety standards.
- Coordinate emergency maintenance and repair works when necessary.
- Allocate daily maintenance tasks to technicians and monitor completion of work orders.
- Supervise maintenance staff and contractors to ensure quality workmanship and timely task execution.
- Provide technical guidance, support, and performance oversight to maintenance personnel.
- Promote teamwork, discipline, and professionalism within the maintenance
- Ensure all facility systems and equipment remain operational, safe, and well-maintained.
- Monitor the condition and performance of generators, pumps, HVAC systems, electrical installations, water systems, kitchen equipment, and other operational assets.
- Maintain maintenance records, service logs, inspection reports, and equipment histories.
- Recommend upgrades, replacements, or improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reliability.
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards, maintenance procedures, and hospitality operational requirements.
- Conduct routine safety checks and ensure proper use of tools, equipment, and protective gear.
- Report safety hazards, incidents, and technical risks promptly and implement corrective measures.
- Support compliance with health, environmental, and safety regulations.
- Prepare maintenance reports, work schedules, and performance updates for management.
- Track maintenance materials, spare parts, and inventory requirements.
- Assist in budgeting and cost monitoring for maintenance activities where required.
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar maintenance supervisory role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and facility maintenance systems.
- Experience planning and coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
- Good communication, leadership, and reporting skills.
- Understanding of workplace safety standards and maintenance compliance procedures.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and manage maintenance priorities effectively.
- Basic computer skills for reporting and maintenance documentation.
