We are currently recruiting for our client – a well‑established IT services and digital transformation company with headquarters in London and a growing office in Nairobi. The client provides cloud computing, IT consulting, cybersecurity, and digital transformation solutions to businesses across Kenya and the wider East African region.
Role Summary
The Marketing Executive is a hands‑on, integrated role responsible for executing marketing activities across both digital and traditional channels to directly support revenue growth. You will manage social media, run digital campaigns, coordinate in‑person events, create compelling marketing collateral, and support the sales team with lead generation. This is a perfect role for a versatile marketer who enjoys variety and wants to see the tangible commercial impact of their work.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue & Lead Generation
Execute multi‑channel campaigns (online and offline) to generate qualified leads and build a healthy sales pipeline.
Collaborate with the sales team to develop marketing materials that support proposal development, client meetings, and tender submissions.
Track lead sources and conversion metrics, providing regular reports on campaign performance and marketing ROI.
Digital & Online Marketing
Manage and grow the company’s social media presence (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, etc.) through content creation, scheduling, and community engagement.
Run and optimise paid digital campaigns (Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Meta) to drive traffic and conversions.
Implement basic SEO best practices to improve organic search visibility.
Manage email marketing campaigns, including list segmentation, content creation, and performance analysis.
Update and maintain the company website with fresh content, case studies, and blog posts.
Offline & Traditional Marketing
Plan, coordinate, and execute marketing events, exhibitions, webinars, and client engagement forums.
Design and produce marketing collateral – brochures, flyers, capability statements, and presentation decks.
Support public relations activities, including drafting press releases and coordinating media engagement.
Market Intelligence & Branding
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging trends and business opportunities.
Ensure all marketing materials adhere to brand guidelines and maintain a consistent, professional brand image.
Qualifications & Experience
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of marketing experience, with exposure to both digital and traditional marketing activities (B2B or IT services experience is a plus).
Core Skills: Strong understanding of social media management, paid ads, SEO/email fundamentals, event coordination, and content creation.
Tools: Familiarity with Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp), CRM systems, and design tools (e.g., Canva) is advantageous.
Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), commercially aware, proactive, highly organised, and comfortable juggling multiple projects.
