Mid Level Project Manager
Job summary
- To manage Projects/implementation manager for projects in operations. - Working together with various stakeholders to ensure that the project is delivered on time, to budget, quality, and in compliance with project policies, standards, and methodologies.
Job descriptions & requirements
- Project Definition and Planning. (35%)
- Evaluate business need for change and create or support the creation of a business case.
- Define scope and plan the project and agree structure and deliverables.
- Business case and Project Charter sign-off
- Prepare detailed project/sub project responsibilities.
2. Project Management, Governance and Risk Management. (35%)
• Manage compliance to project practices and methodologies and structures
• Prepare current and accurate forecast of costs, cash flow, timescales and resource requirements in agreement with the Project Steering Committee
• Organize and manage sub-project staff and set up and chair team and Management
meetings as appropriate.
• Identify areas of risk, concern, change and issue management procedures, making
recommendations as appropriate.
3. Staff management (10%)
- Agree resource plans with the Accountable Executive and/or project steering committee and manage and lead sub-project team.
- Identify training needed to support project implementation
- Provide coaching and guidance to sub-project staff to ensure high standards of deliverables.
- Encouraging contribution and feedback from the team.
4. Controls and Communication (10%)
- Keeping the stakeholders regularly informed of the project
- Ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements, Risk Management Framework and Policies and Policy Standards.
- Ensure adherence to the Group IT security policy and controls in accessing any system
- Comply with Operational risk and rigor
- Ensure all requests are properly authorized and signatures verified before processing.
