Job Summary
The Procurement Officer will be responsible for managing the procurement process to ensure timely, cost-effective and efficient acquisition of goods in line with company policies and applicable regulations.

Job Description/Requirements
Duties and Responsibilities
· Develop and implement procurement plans in alignment with the company’s needs.
· Source, evaluate, and recommend suppliers based on quality, cost and reliability.
· Prepare and issue purchase orders and requests for quotations.
· Maintain and update supplier database, price lists, and procurement records.
· Monitor supplier performance and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
· Ensure adherence to company procurement policies and relevant statutory requirements.
· Coordinate with Heads of Departments in providing timely procurement services.
· Prepare procurement reports and assist in audit processes.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
· Professional certification in procurement is an added advantage.
· Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in procurement and supply chain management.
· Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
· Proficiency in procurement software/ERP systems and MS Office applications.
· High level of integrity, accountability, and attention to detail.
