Job descriptions & requirements

Key Responsibilities

Sourcing & Purchasing:

● Lead in sourcing and evaluating suppliers for raw materials and packaging.

● Raise purchase orders and follow through to delivery.

● Compare quotations and ensure cost-effective procurement.

Supplier and Imports Coordination:

● Manage import of raw materials from suppliers in China, EU, etc.

● Maintain supplier relationships and communication.

● Track supplier performance and delivery timelines.

● Resolve supply issues and escalate where necessary.

Inventory & Planning Support:

● Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment.

● Work with production and stores to avoid stockouts.

● Maintain accurate procurement records.

Compliance & Documentation:

● Ensure adherence to procurement policies and procedures.

● Maintain proper documentation for audits.

● Support regulatory compliance requirements.

Cost Control:

● Support cost-saving initiatives.

● Monitor price trends and recommend improvements.

Qualifications & Experience Education:

● Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field.

● Professional certification (e.g., CIPS, KISM) is an added advantage.

Experience:

● 2–5 years’ experience in procurement, preferably in FMCG or manufacturing.

● Strong understanding of materials involved in personal and homecare manufacturing

● Well versed in international logistics/procurement

● Strong understanding of cosmetics and personal care products, networks and compliance

Skills:

● Negotiation and supplier management skills.

● Good analytical and organizational skills.

● Knowledge of ERP systems is an added advantage.

● Attention to detail and integrity.
