Who we are?
Stable Foods’ mission is to reduce food insecurity via climate friendly practices.  For the next two years, Stable Foods will be expanding our farming reach to over 200 additional farmers, and this includes bringing Regenerative Agricultural practices to each one of them.

The role
Stable Foods seeks a Regenerative Agriculture Consultant to join our team.  Her/his responsibilities will be evaluating our current practices, making suggestions and improvements on how our farm and farmers can incorporate climate friendly practices into our production procedures, and then implementing them side by side with the production team.  The role is based out of Sindo, and will be full time for a duration of 6 months.

You will
•    Evaluate Stable Foods’ current farming/horticultural practices
•    Bring your knowledge and expertise to our production team, such that we can incorporate the best practices into our procedures
•    Design pilots and lead model plots so that we can learn and prove what works
•    Communicate to production team and farmer partners so that they understand the value of the new practices
•    Develop a multi level roadmap for our transition from current practices to regenerative agriculture practices
•    Execute on the road map – bring these changes to life within our farm

You have
•    A deep shared purpose for Stable Foods mission
•    5+ years of direct experience designing and successfully executing regenerative agricultural practices at commercial scale farms
•    A solution-oriented attitude and solid problem-solving skills, both analytical and hands-on
•    A data-driven mindset and decision making ability
•    Bsc or Msc in Agriculture or related science
•    A willingness to operate in a lean, resource-constrained start-up environment and flexible to adapt your role and responsibilities as needed
