The International Potato Center (CIP) is seeking a dynamic Research Technician I who will provide support operative to the pre-breeding and breeding operations. Who will be based in Nairobi, Kenya. The Position:
â The Research Technician I will provide support to provide to the pre-breeding and breeding operations in Kenya. Key responsibilities: â¢Arrange necessary tools and equipment for experiments in different environments (field/greenhouses) before conducting the experiment.â¢Monitor and manage the supply chain used in experiments to ensure proper usage and disposal.â¢Perform daily measurements and weighings to update the experiment's database.â¢Operate laboratory equipment according to specific instructions to support the project.â¢Adhere to relevant health and safety CIP policies and procedures.
