Senior Accountant

Salary: KES 100,000 + Performance Incentives

Reports To: General Manager

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to provide financial leadership, strengthen financial controls, optimize cash flow and working capital, and support profitable business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead financial reporting, budgeting, reconciliations, and management accounts
• Manage cash flow, working capital, debtors, creditors, inventory, and profitability
• Ensure statutory, tax, IFRS, governance, and internal control compliance
• Drive ERP utilization and finance process automation
• Lead and develop the Finance team
• Provide commercial insights to support business and strategic decision-making

Requirements:
• CPA(K) qualification is mandatory
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or related field
• Minimum 5 years’ finance and accounting experience, preferably in FMCG, Beverages, Consumer Goods, Pharmaceuticals, Manufacturing, or Distribution
• At least 2 years’ experience leading a Finance function
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Oracle, or Sage X3
• Strong Excel skills and experience in margins, pricing, stock, cash flow, and working capital
• Strong leadership, integrity, commercial acumen, and problem-solving skills
