- Prepare and manage the full set of financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow) independently
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes
- Ensure accuracy of general ledger entries, reconciliations, and journal postings
- Monitor and analyze profit and loss (P&L) performance
- Develop financial reports and dashboards to support management decisions
- Manage accounts payable and receivable functions
- Perform regular bank, supplier, and customer reconciliations
- Oversee payroll accounting and statutory deductions (if applicable)
- Ensure proper inventory and cost accounting (especially relevant to concrete production)
- Maintain accurate financial records in ERP/accounting systems
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, statutory requirements, and financial reporting standards
- Coordinate and liaise with external auditors during audits
- Prepare audit schedules and respond to audit queries
- Handle interactions with government authorities and regulatory bodies
- Monitor and manage cash flow and liquidity
- Liaise with banks and financial institutions on transactions, facilities, and documentation
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes
- Utilize ERP/accounting systems effectively to streamline operations
- Identify and implement process improvements and internal controls
- Ensure proper documentation and adherence to financial policies
- Communicate effectively with internal teams, management, and external stakeholders
- Support cross-functional departments with financial insights
- Work in a multicultural environment, maintaining professionalism and clarity
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (required)
- Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CIMA) preferred
- Minimum 10 years of relevant accounting/finance experience
- Proven experience managing end-to-end accounting functions independently
- Experience in construction, manufacturing, or industrial operations is highly desirable
- Exposure to multicultural or overseas work environments is an advantage
- Strong knowledge of Financial reporting standards, General ledger and reconciliations, P&L and cost management
- Experience with ERP/accounting systems
