Our client is seeking a Senior Local Finance Manager to oversee financial operations, reporting, budgeting, compliance, and financial planning. - Oversee and manage all financial operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with financial policies.
- Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial plans to support business objectives.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, statements, and management accounts.
- Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, tax requirements, and accounting standards.
- Manage cash flow, financial controls, and risk management processes.
- Lead financial analysis to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
- Supervise and mentor finance team members to enhance performance.
- Coordinate audits and ensure timely resolution of audit findings.
- Review accounting processes and implement improvements for better financial management.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance and accounting and any other related field.
- Ideally, candidates should be retired or former employees of the local tax bureau, or professionals from reputable local accounting firms.
- Professional accounting qualification such as CPA(K), ACCA, or equivalent is required.
- Proven experience in senior finance management or a similar leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, and compliance.
- Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
