We are looking for a highly motivated Systems Administrator Intern to support the deployment, demonstration, training, and ongoing support of the management systems we offer to clients. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both technical work and client interaction, and who is eager to learn different management systems.
The intern will be trained on our management systems and will be expected to understand them thoroughly in order to support clients effectively, conduct system demonstrations, and assist with onboarding and implementation.
Key Responsibilities
System Deployment & Setup
- Assist with the deployment and configuration of management systems for new clients
- Support system setup, customization, and initial data preparation
- Ensure systems are properly configured according to client requirements
Client Training & Demonstrations
- Conduct system demonstrations for prospective and existing clients
- Assist in training clients on system usage, features, and best practices
- Prepare training materials, user guides, and walkthrough documentation
Client Support & Ongoing Assistance
- Provide first-level support to clients using the systems
- Troubleshoot user, access, and system-related issues
- Escalate complex technical issues where necessary and follow up on resolutions
- Maintain clear communication with clients regarding issues and updates
System Mastery & Documentation
- Learn all system features, workflows, and configurations in depth
- Maintain accurate documentation for system processes and client setups
- Support system updates, testing, and improvements
Collaboration & Operations
- Work closely with internal teams to improve system usability and client experience
- Assist in gathering client feedback and identifying system improvement opportunities
Qualifications & Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed studies in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Strong interest in systems administration and client-facing technical roles
- Ability and willingness to learn systems in detail and explain them clearly to others
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Well-organized with attention to detail
- Comfortable interacting with clients in a professional setting
- Should not be lazy
Preferred Skills (Added Advantage)
- Basic understanding of system deployment or IT support processes
- Familiarity with user access management and data security principles
- Experience creating documentation or training materials
- Exposure to client support, onboarding, or technical demos
We work in a mostly remote setting, sometimes needing physical meetings with clients.
