Job summary
The ideal candidate is comfortable in front of the camera, understands social media trends, and can transform ideas into compelling short-form videos that resonate with students, parents, professionals, and the wider community.
Job descriptions & requirements
Content Creation
- Create short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook and other platforms.
- Produce student-focused UGC: testimonials, campus experiences, course explainers, FAQs, trends and educational content.
- Develop content concepts, scripts and storyboards.
- Capture quality photos and videos during campus activities.
On-Camera Presentation
- Act as a presenter/brand personality for Medprime.
- Confidently speak to students, parents and professionals.
- Conduct student interviews and testimonials.
- Participate in trends and relevant challenges while maintaining professionalism.
Social Media Growth
- Work closely with the Digital Marketing team.
- Identify trending sounds, formats, hashtags and content opportunities.
- Maintain a consistent content calendar.
- Help increase reach, engagement, followers and enquiries.
Lead Generation & Conversion
- Create content with clear calls-to-action.
- Promote courses, intakes, events and campus activities.
- Direct prospects to WhatsApp, calls, website or campus visits.
- Track which content generates enquiries and admissions.
Content Production & Editing
- Shoot and edit videos using tools such as CapCut, Canva or equivalent.
- Add captions, hooks, transitions, music and branding.
- Ensure videos are optimized for different platforms.
- Maintain an organized content library.
Campus & Student Content
- Capture authentic campus experiences.
- Cover orientations, graduations, practical sessions, open days and other activities.
- Work with students and staff to obtain suitable content.
- Obtain appropriate consent before publishing identifiable student content.
- Requirements
Diploma or degree in Digital Marketing, Mass Communication, Media, Communications, or a related field.
Proven experience creating social media or UGC content.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Strong creativity, storytelling, and video-editing abilities.
Comfortable and confident appearing on camera.
