Job descriptions & requirements
Guest Service
- Welcome guests warmly and professionally, creating a memorable first impression.
- Present menus and provide detailed knowledge of food, beverages, wines, cocktails, coffees, teas, and daily specials.
- Take guest orders accurately and communicate them promptly to the kitchen and bar.
- Serve food and beverages according to established luxury service standards.
- Anticipate guest needs and provide discreet, attentive, and personalized service throughout the dining experience.
- Handle guest requests, complaints, and special dietary requirements courteously and efficiently, escalating where necessary.
- Ensure guest satisfaction before, during, and after meals.
Barista Duties
- Prepare and serve premium coffee beverages including espresso, cappuccino, latte, flat white, macchiato, mocha, and iced coffees.
- Prepare specialty teas, hot chocolate, fresh juices, smoothies, and other non-alcoholic beverages.
- Maintain consistency in beverage preparation and presentation.
- Operate and maintain coffee machines, grinders, and related equipment.
- Monitor coffee bean quality, milk, syrups, and beverage supplies.
Restaurant and Villa Service
- Set up restaurant tables, private dining areas, and villa dining according to luxury hospitality standards.
- Provide breakfast, lunch, dinner, afternoon tea, and room service where required.
- Deliver private villa dining experiences while ensuring guest privacy and confidentiality.
- Prepare and clear tables efficiently without disrupting guests.
- Ensure proper table settings, linen, cutlery, crockery, and glassware are maintained.
- Assist with beach dining, romantic dinners, special events, and private functions.
Beverage Service
- Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages responsibly.
- Recommend wines and beverages to complement menu selections.
- Ensure beverages are served at the correct temperature and presentation.
Hygiene and Food Safety
- Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and grooming.
- Comply with food safety, HACCP, and hygiene procedures.
- Ensure workstations, coffee equipment, dining areas, and service stations remain clean and organized.
- Report any food safety or equipment concerns immediately.
Billing
- Prepare guest bills accurately.
- Process cash, card, and electronic payments.
- Balance bills and receipts in accordance with Company procedures.
Inventory and Stock Control
- Assist in stock-taking of beverages, coffee supplies, crockery, cutlery, and service equipment.
- Report shortages, breakages, or damaged items promptly.
- Minimize wastage and handle Company property responsibly.
Teamwork
- Work closely with the kitchen, housekeeping, front office, and other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Support colleagues during busy service periods.
- Participate in daily briefings and departmental training.
Health, Safety and Security
- Follow Company health and safety policies.
- Report accidents, hazards, or unsafe practices immediately.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding guests and Company operations.
