Job Summary

We are looking for a talented and motivated Business Development Officer to join our Nanyuki team. If you have a passion for sales, networking and helping companies grow, this might be the perfect opportunity for you.

  • Working Hours : Full Time

Job Description/Requirements

KEY RESPONSIBIITIES


- Identify and develop new business opportunities to drive revenue growth.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.

- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and customer needs.

- Prepare and present proposals, pitches and sales presentations.

- Negotiate contracts and close deals with clients.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop business strategies.

- Monitor and report on sales performance and adjust strategies accordingly.


REQUIREMENTS

- Must have Insurance Background

- Must have strategic mindset

- Proven experience as a business development officer or similar role

- Self - motivated with a results-driven approach

- Strong understanding of sales and marketing principles

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills

- Bachelor's degree/ diploma in Insurance, Business, Marketing or a related field (preferred)

- Proficiency in Ms- Office - Computer literate

- valid driver's license (perfect with Manual vehicle)is an added advantage

The position is Open at the Nanyuki Branch, candidates from this region are welcomed to apply - interviews, induction and training will be conducted in the Nairobi office- candidates from Nairobi, Nyeri, Meru and other parts of the Laikipia / Nyeri region who are willing to relocate to Nanyuki at their own expense are welcome to apply.
