- Supervise daily construction activities to ensure works are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Monitor workmanship, materials, and construction methods to ensure quality standards are maintained.
- Conduct regular site inspections and identify defects, non-compliance issues, or construction risks.
- Ensure proper implementation of civil and structural works in line with engineering and architectural designs.
- Verify completed works and assist in quality assurance checks before approvals or handovers.
- Coordinate site activities between contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and project teams.
- Monitor project progress against timelines and report delays or performance concerns.
- Assist in resolving site-related technical issues and operational challenges.
- Ensure proper sequencing of activities to maintain smooth project execution.
- Participate in project meetings and provide site progress updates where required.
- Read and interpret construction drawings, BOQs, specifications, and technical documents.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly site reports on work progress, quality observations, and site activities.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, site instructions, materials usage, and contractor performance.
- Support preparation of project documentation and compliance records.
- Ensure construction works comply with safety regulations, building codes, and project standards.
- Monitor adherence to occupational health and safety practices on site.
- Report unsafe working conditions and ensure corrective actions are implemented promptly.
- Assist in ensuring environmental and regulatory compliance throughout project execution.
- Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Building Construction, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in construction site supervision, civil works management, or related construction operations.
- Strong practical knowledge of construction processes, site coordination, and building materials.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, technical plans, and Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
- Experience supervising contractors and subcontractors is an added advantage.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with construction reporting and documentation systems.
- Good understanding of quality control and construction safety standards.
