COLLEGE MANAGER
Job summary
The College Manager provides strategic, operational, academic, and financial leadership for College. The role ensures effective management of all campuses, compliance with TVET regulations, delivery of quality training programs, sustainable growth, and achievement of institutional goals.
Job descriptions & requirements
1. Strategic Leadership and Governance
- Develop and implement the College's strategic plans and annual operational objectives.
- Lead institutional growth, expansion, and innovation initiatives.
- Establish and review policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.
- Chair management meetings and provide leadership to all departments.
- Ensure alignment of departmental activities with the College mission and vision.
2. Academic Leadership
- Oversee academic quality and training standards across all campuses.
- Monitor curriculum implementation and program effectiveness.
- Ensure examination integrity, assessment compliance, and quality assurance processes.
- Support development of new programs based on industry and healthcare market needs.
- Monitor student performance, retention, and graduation outcomes.
3. Regulatory Compliance and Quality Assurance
- Ensure compliance with TVETA, NITA, KNEC, Ministry of Education, and other regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate institutional audits, inspections, and accreditation processes.
- Oversee implementation of quality management systems and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure all campuses maintain required approvals and licenses.
4. Financial Management
- Lead budgeting, financial planning, and resource allocation.
- Monitor revenue generation, student fee collection, and expenditure control.
- Approve procurement plans and capital investments.
- Ensure financial accountability and sustainability of the institution.
5. Human Resource Management
- Oversee recruitment, performance management, staff development, and succession planning.
- Foster a culture of professionalism, accountability, and teamwork.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and HR policies.
- Lead employee engagement and talent retention initiatives.
6. Operations and Campus Management
- Ensure smooth operations across all MedPrime campuses.
- Oversee facilities management, ICT systems, security, procurement, and maintenance.
- Monitor operational efficiency and service delivery standards.
- Identify and mitigate institutional risks.
7. Marketing, Partnerships, and Business Development
- Drive student recruitment and enrollment growth.
- Build partnerships with hospitals, healthcare facilities, employers, and industry stakeholders.
- Represent the College in professional forums and stakeholder engagements.
- Support brand development and market positioning initiatives.
8. Student Affairs and Welfare
- Promote a safe, inclusive, and student-centered learning environment.
- Ensure effective student support services and grievance handling.
- Monitor student satisfaction and implement improvement measures.
- Support career development and employability initiatives.
