Consultant

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Statistics, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in research, policy analysis, or consultancy.
• Demonstrated proficiency in statistical and data analysis tools (e.g., SPSS, Stata, R).
• Exceptional writing skills with the ability to produce research reports, policy briefs, and technical documents.
• Strong understanding of research methodologies and survey design.
• Familiarity with report writing for development partners, government, or private sector clients.
• Ability to interpret complex data and present findings clearly.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management capabilities.
• Age not above 35 years.

Preferred Attributes:

• Experience in proposal development and client engagement.
• Practical exposure to economic modelling or forecasting.
• Familiarity with ICT or digital solutions in consultancy work.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing deadlines.
• Knowledge of Kenya’s policy and development context.
• A keen interest in policy analysis, governance, and public sector consulting.
• Willingness to travel for fieldwork or client engagements.
• Demonstrated teamwork, initiative, and accountability in previous roles.
