Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Cost Controller/Cost Control Accountant in the food store sector, located in Nairobi County, Kenya. The Cost Controller will monitor and analyze expenditures, manage food store budgets, and implement processes to maintain cost efficiency. Responsibilities also include maintaining accurate financial records, preparing cost reports, and collaborating with other departments to ensure efficient operations within the hospitality sector.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Cost Control and Cost Accounting
- Strong Analytical Skills to assess data and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Experience in Finance and expertise in managing budgets and financial planning
- Proven ability in effective Cost Management strategies
- Experience in Procurement/Supply Chain Management
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, on-site hospitality environment
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field is preferred
- Experience in the hospitality or food service industry is a MUST have.
