Summit Recruitment and Search Africa is a leading Recruitment and Executive Search agency head quartered in Kenya providing outstanding talent to a wide range of companies and NGOs in various business sectors across Africa.

Our client, a dynamic company operating in the Engineering sector and specializing in Heavy Equipment, is currently in search of a highly qualified individual to fulfill the role of Country After Sales Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for the after-sales functions of the Equipment. The ideal candidate must possess previous experience working with Construction or Heavy Equipment.

Key responsibilities:

Responsible for generating sales of after-sales products and services, and to meet Group sales, profitability, and efficiency targets. Responsible for building up after-sales capacity and capabilities within AOR to meet the Groupâs after-sales objectives. Oversee After-Sales departments (both spare parts and service) or capabilities within the Kenyan operation. Oversee a spare parts manager in the operation, who is responsible for formulating orders, inventory control and the active promotion and sales of spares. Oversee a service or workshop manager in the operation, who is responsible for the running of the service function of the company inside

Qualifications:

At least 10 yearâs management experience in the construction equipment dealership space Extensive industry and after-sales knowledge. A high level of personal integrity and energy. An ability to understand all aspects of business, accounting, and finance â in particular secure inventory management and controls systems â to ensure efficient and effective use of resources. An ability to understand and manage a team of management staff & workers and the operational resources required to achieve the highest levels of efficiency. Capable of strategic and tactical plan generation and the ability to drive such plans through execution to successful completion. Proven management competence and an understanding of management principles, methods and practices to lead skilled, semi-skilled and unskilled labour.
