We are seeking a talented and results-oriented Digital Marketing Specialist who can execute multi-channel digital marketing campaigns focused on lead generation, brand awareness, and customer acquisition.
The Digital Marketing Specialist will be responsible for planning, executing, optimizing, and reporting on digital marketing campaigns across Google, LinkedIn, Meta, email marketing, SEO, and social media platforms.
The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in paid advertising, marketing analytics, lead generation, content marketing, marketing automation, and social media management. Experience marketing healthcare, professional services, SaaS, technology, consulting, or B2B businesses is highly desirable.
This role is heavily focused on measurable business outcomes, including qualified leads, appointment bookings, customer acquisition, and return on advertising spend (ROAS).
Key Responsibilities
Paid Advertising
- Plan,
launch, manage, and optimize:
- Google Search Ads
- Google Display Ads
- Google Remarketing Campaigns
- YouTube Advertising
- LinkedIn Advertising
- Meta Advertising (Facebook and Instagram)
- Perform keyword research and audience targeting.
- Create and optimize conversion-focused landing page campaigns.
- Manage advertising budgets and bidding strategies.
- Conduct A/B testing of ads, landing pages, and creatives.
- Improve conversion rates and reduce cost per acquisition.
SEO & Content Marketing
- Develop and execute SEO strategies.
- Conduct keyword research and competitive analysis.
- Optimize websites for local and organic search.
- Create SEO-driven content strategies.
- Monitor rankings and website performance.
Social Media Management
- Manage company social media accounts.
- Create and maintain monthly content calendars.
- Schedule and publish content.
- Monitor audience engagement.
- Respond to comments and inquiries as appropriate.
- Build brand awareness across multiple platforms.
Marketing Automation & CRM
- Manage marketing automation workflows.
- Create lead nurturing campaigns.
- Segment audiences.
- Manage email marketing campaigns.
- Maintain CRM data quality.
- Develop automated customer journeys.
Analytics & Reporting
- Track
and report on:
- Lead generation
- Conversion rates
- Cost per lead
- Cost per acquisition
- Return on advertising spend
- Website performance
- Create weekly and monthly performance reports.
- Recommend optimization strategies based on data.
Website Management
- Assist with website updates and optimization.
- Improve landing page performance.
- Coordinate with developers and designers when required.
- Support implementation of tracking and conversion measurement tools.
Required Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's Degree in one of the following:
- Digital Marketing
- Marketing
- Marketing Communications
- Business Administration (Marketing Option)
- E-Commerce
- Advertising
- Public Relations with Digital Marketing specialization
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on digital marketing experience.
- Proven experience managing Google Ads campaigns.
- Proven experience managing LinkedIn Ads campaigns.
- Proven experience managing Meta Ads campaigns.
- Experience with social media management.
- Experience generating measurable leads through digital channels.
- Experience managing marketing budgets.
- Experience using marketing analytics and reporting tools.
Desired Certifications
Applicants should possess current certifications in at least several of the following:
- Google Skillshop Google Ads Search Certification
- Google Skillshop Google Analytics Certification
- Meta Meta Certified Digital Marketing Associate or Professional Certification
- LinkedIn LinkedIn Marketing Labs Certification

Skills
Expected skills
- Basic graphic design and video editing skills.
- Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT for marketing productivity.

Performance Expectations
Within the first 90 days, the successful candidate should be able to work with IT to build data driven marketing systems. Expectations include:
- Build lead generation funnels.
- Build high conversion landing pages
- Implement marketing automation workflows.
- Improve website conversion rates.
- Establish a social media content management process.
- Launch initial Google Ads and LinkedIn Ad campaigns.
- Establish relevant marketing metrics, reports and dashboards.
- Launch initial email marketing campaigns
Generate qualified leads that prove that the marketing systems established can perform consistently.
Compensation
Base Salary: KES 45,000
Bonuses/Commissions:
After satisfactorily meeting the above 90-day performance expectations, additional compensation in the form of performance bonuses/commissions will be offered. Performance bonuses will be based on meeting:
- Revenue generation targets
- Lead generation targets
- Customer acquisition targets
- Marketing ROI targets
- Campaign performance targets
