Job Description/Requirements
Real People Kenya Limited, a non-deposit-taking micro-finance institution is seeking to recruit self-driven and ambitious fresh graduates with either a Bachelor’s degree or a Diploma to join our team as a Direct Sales Representative (DSR) in our Kisumu, Eldoret, Mombasa, Nakuru and Meru branches.
Successful candidates will undergo a 2-week induction training before deployment to the branches. Remuneration will be on an approved commission structure.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Drive sales of RPKL’s products through advertising, customer referrals, and word-of-mouth marketing.
2. Manage personal sales performance and take corrective actions to achieve targets.
3. Guide clients on compliance requirements and provide constructive feedback on non-approval of loan applications.
4. Facilitate loan processing from customer application to disbursement.
5. Build and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring regular engagement to understand financial needs.
6. Monitor loan repayment to ensure timely payments and portfolio quality.
7. Gather and relay customer feedback on RPKL’s products.
8. Prepare and submit regular sales reports.
Minimum Requirements:
1. A Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in any discipline from a recognized institution.
2. Minimum Mean Grade of C plain in K.C.S.E with at least a C (plain) in Mathematics and English.
3. Quick learner with the ability to apply acquired skills.
4. Strong analytical, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
5. Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
6. Team player with the ability to work under pressure and meet strict targets.
