We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Sales Executive to join our team and help local and national businesses connect with the community through the power of radio and digital media.
The Role:
As a Sales Executive, you will be the bridge between our Radio station and local and national businesses. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building lasting relationships, and creating tailored advertising solutions that help our clients grow.
Key Responsibilities:
• New Business Development: Proactively prospect and contact potential clients via phone, email, and face-to-face meetings.
• Account Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business.
• Solution Selling: Understand client needs and create customized advertising packages that include on-air spots, sponsorships, and digital promotions (social media/website), and any other media campaigns required by the client.
• Sales Targets: Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
• Market Research: Stay up-to-date with local market trends and competitor activities.
• Administration: Manage sales pipeline, prepare proposals, and coordinate with the production team to ensure ads are created to a high standard.
Who You Are:
• You have a proven track record in sales, media sales experience is a plus.
• You are self-motivated, target-driven, and thrive working independently.
• You possess excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• You are well-connected within the local community or eager to become so.
• You are resilient and view "no" as the next step toward "yes."
Education
Minimum Diploma in sales and Marketing with 2 years’ sales experience
