Job summary
Edge branding Machine Operator is responsible for operating, adjusting, maintaining, and monitoring edge banding machines used in furniture, kitchen cabinet, wardrobe, and panel board manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities
* Operate and monitor edge banding machines efficiently.
* Set up machine parameters for different board sizes and materials.
* Ensure high-quality edge finishing without gaps, burns, or peeling.
* Adjust trimming, glue, pressure rollers, and polishing units.
* Perform routine machine maintenance and cleaning.
* Troubleshoot machine problems and reduce downtime.
* Inspect finished products to maintain quality standards.
* Read production drawings and cutting lists accurately.
* Coordinate with CNC, cutting, and assembly departments.
* Maintain workplace safety and proper material handling.
* Control glue consumption and reduce material wastage.
* Train junior operators when required.
Requirements
* Minimum 3 years of experience operating edge banding machines.
* Good understanding of PVC, ABS, veneer, and melamine edge tapes.
* Experience with automatic and semi-automatic edge banders.
* Ability to adjust machine settings for different materials and thicknesses.
* Strong knowledge of furniture or cabinetry manufacturing.
* Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet production targets.
* Attention to detail and quality finishing.
