We are looking for a skilled sheet metal assembly fabricator with hands-on experience in fabrication, assembly, and installation of electrical panels, switchboards, outdoor cabinets, network racks, and data centre containment systems. The role involves both shop floor manufacturing and on-site installation, ensuring quality, precision, and adherence to project timelines.

Job Title: Fabricator -Sheet Metal Assembly (Shop floor & Site Work)
Location: Nairobi

Salary 35,000 - 50,000 Gross
Joining: Immediate
Key Responsibilities:
- Fabricate
and assemble sheet metal components as per drawings.
- Work
on products such as: Electrical switchboards and control panels
- Outdoor
cabinets and enclosures
- Network/server
racks
- Data
Centre cages and containment systems
- Interpret
technical drawings and ensure accurate fabrication.
- Perform
cutting, bending, drilling, tapping, and basic welding operations.
- Assemble
components using fasteners, rivets, and other joining methods.
- Ensure
proper alignment, fitment, and finishing of assemblies.
- Coordinate
with design and production teams for clarifications and
improvements.
- Handle
on-site installation, erection, and alignment of structures.
- Carry
out modifications and rectifications during installation.
- Follow
safety procedures and maintain clean working practices.
- Ensure
quality standards are met during fabrication and installation.
Skills
& Qualifications:
- ITI
/ Diploma in Mechanical / Fabrication or equivalent experience.
Experience:
- 2–6 Years Strong hands-on experience in sheet metal fabrication and assembly.
- Ability
to read and understand fabrication drawings.
- Knowledge
of tools and machines: Bending machines (press brake
- Shearing,
drilling, tapping tools
- Hand
tools and power tools
- Basic
welding knowledge (MIG/TIG preferred).
- Experience
in assembling panels, racks, and enclosures.
- Familiarity
with site installation work and coordination.
- Good understanding of measurements, tolerances, and alignment.
Preferred
Qualifications:
- Experience
in data centre projects (containment, cages, rack installation).
- Knowledge
of powder coating/finishing process
- Ability
to work at site locations and travel if required.
- Basic electrical panel understanding (optional but beneficial).
