Job summary
The Lionston Real Estate Limited is currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance Admin to join our dynamic Finance Department and contribute to our continued success.

Job Purpose
The position will support the financial operations of the company by performing accounting and clerical tasks that ensure accuracy of financial information. Manage the company's funds ensuring they cover day-to-day liabilities and track the money moving in and out of the bank accounts to optimize cash flow and minimize any financial risk.
Key Responsibilities
• Post and process journal entries and ensure all business transactions are adequate supported
• Update accounts receivable and issue invoices
• Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations .Report and resolve on any discrepancy
• Liquidity management for the company By preparing cashflow projections in liaison with management accountant. And monitoring variances and reporting vide ANOVA(Analysis of variances)
• Reconcile weekly and monthly bank statements and identify discrepancies.
• Processing domestic/foreign currency payments
• Daily cash management and debt facilities reporting and ensure expenditures are adequately supported.
• Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines
• Assist with reviewing expenses in line with the budgets.
• Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be readily available
• Prepare and submit daily/weekly/monthly reports as per set deadlines
• Assist Management accountant in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings
• Assist with any other accounting projects
Qualifications & Experience
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or relevant field
• Professional Certification: CPA, ACCA or an equivalent
• Accounting Knowledge: Strong understanding of the full accounting cycle, including financial reporting, reconciliations, tax compliance, IFRS, IPSAS & ISAS
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or other ERP systems, along with advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Analytical & Mathematical Skills: Strong numerical ability, accuracy, and attention to detail in financial analysis and reporting.
• Regulatory Compliance: Familiarity with tax regulations and financial laws.
Soft Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time management skills.
• Ethical Standards: High levels of honesty, integrity, and professionalism in handling financial data.
• Self-Driven & Organized: Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and maintain financial accuracy with minimal supervision.
Experience:
• 2-3 years of proven experience as a finance admin, or in a similar role.
