Florist and Gifting Specialist

Key Responsibilities 1. Floral Design & Arrangement

• Design and assemble handcrafted bouquets and floral arrangements for all occasions
  
• Ensure consistency in quality, freshness, and presentation
  
• Customize orders based on customer preferences and themes
  
• Stay updated on floral trends, color palettes, and seasonal flowers

2. Gifting & Customer Experience

• Advise customers on flower selection, gift combinations, and messaging
  
• Curate gift sets (flowers, chocolates, cards, add-ons) that elevate the experience
  
• Ensure each gift feels personal and premium
  
• Maintain a warm, professional, and empathetic approach to customers

3. Stock & Flower Care

• Proper handling, conditioning, and storage of fresh flowers
  
• Monitor stock levels and minimize wastage
  
• Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing workspace

4. Quality Control & Brand Standards

• Uphold Flowers Kenya’s design standards and brand aesthetics
  
• Ensure all orders are packaged beautifully and consistently
  
• Flag quality issues early and recommend improvements
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Proven experience as a professional florist or floral designer
  
• Strong eye for design, color, and detail
  
• Experience with custom and premium bouquets
  
• Good communication and customer service skills
  
• Ability to work under pressure during peak seasons (Valentine’s, Mother’s Day, etc.)
