GRAPHIC DESIGNER

Overall Job Summary

The job holder will be responsible for designing, creating and improving the designs/artworks of clients and products that the company is currently producing as well as developing new and unique products that will meet the needs of our diverse range of clients.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

·       Ensure timely development of artworks

·       Make adjustments and corrections on artworks for client’s approval

·       Continuously assess the company’s current products and improve on design

·       Coordinate with sales team incase clients need artwork done for them for their orders (if they don’t have any)

·       Create mockups for client approval and guide the production team when producing an order

·       Design / source new and unique products for our client’s

·       Ensure quality production of items as per client’s specifications.

·       Ensure artworks are in the correct format and ready for production

·       Communicate with the Client on specifications on artworks and designs

·       Coordinate with sales and production team to ensure quality of the products and artworks before production

Additional duties:

·       Checking the quality and quantity of products prior to delivery

·       Assist in packaging products as well as delivering them when need arises

·       Sample production and sample sourcing when need arises

·       Any other responsibilities that may arise from time to time

Qualifications

·       Diploma in Graphic Design

·       Proven work experience in Graphic Design

·       Experience in the print industry is an added advantage

Skills

·       Must have creative flair

·       Should be able to analyze products and develop new ideas

·       Ability to interpret briefs from clients

·       Should be computer literate and familiar with design software such as; Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and Corel Draw.

·       Should be able to work within a team

·       Should have good communication skills and be keen on detail

·       Should be flexible in terms of ideas, concepts and working hours
