Job Brief .

Our client, a technology based company is  seeking a professional with expertise in the Somali market. Based in Nairobi, the candidate will be responsible for the comprehensive development and execution of strategies for the Somalia market through remote work, serving as a key link between the company and the local market.

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  
• Develop and implement annual quarterly strategies and budgets for the Somalia market.
  
• Conduct in-depth analysis of the local media landscape, consumer behavior, and competitive dynamics, delivering insightful reports.
  
• Expand and maintain relationships with local Somali media, channels, Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), and partners.
  
• Plan and execute localized marketing, brand promotion, and public relations activities.
  
• Monitor the effectiveness of market activities, provide regular reports, and drive continuous optimization.
  
• Collaborate with sales, product, and other teams to ensure market strategies align with overall company objectives.
  

Key Skills and Qualifications

• 
  
• Bachelor's degree in business related field .
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Somali & English.
  
• Direct working experience in the Somali market, with familiarity regarding the local business environment and regulations.
  
• Understanding of the Somali media ecosystem, with relevant resources and connections. 
  
• Self -motivated and able to work efficiently and independently in a remote setting.
  
• Strong cross-cultural communication and remote collaboration skills.
