The successful candidate will conduct patient assessments, develop treatment plans, perform medical procedures, maintain accurate clinical records, and promote high standards of patient care.

Job Description

  • Provide comprehensive medical care, including patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up.
  • Conduct medical consultations and develop appropriate treatment plans.
  • Perform medical procedures and ensure proper patient management.
  • Monitor patients’ progress and make necessary clinical decisions.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient medical records.
  • Provide health education and preventive care guidance to patients.
  • Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality care.
  • Ensure compliance with medical standards, safety protocols, and ethical practices.
  • Participate in clinical meetings and support continuous improvement of healthcare services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in medicine and surgery (MBChB).
  • Minimum 2 years post qualification experience.
  • Must have studied outside Kenya (e.g. Turkey, Uganda or other recognized international institutions).
  • Valid professional registration and practicing licence..
  • Strong clinical and patient care skills.
  • Previous clinical experience is an added advantage.
  • Strong diagnostic and patient management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a team environment.
  • Availability to start immediately.
  • Location - Embu
