MEDICAL OFFICER

Our client is seeking a qualified and compassionate Medical Officer to provide quality medical care, diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients. The successful candidate will conduct patient assessments, develop treatment plans, perform medical procedures, maintain accurate clinical records, and promote high standards of patient care.

Job Description

• Provide comprehensive medical care, including patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up.
• Conduct medical consultations and develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Perform medical procedures and ensure proper patient management.
• Monitor patients’ progress and make necessary clinical decisions.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient medical records.
• Provide health education and preventive care guidance to patients.
• Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality care.
• Ensure compliance with medical standards, safety protocols, and ethical practices.
• Participate in clinical meetings and support continuous improvement of healthcare services.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in medicine and surgery (MBChB).
• Minimum 2 years post qualification experience.
• Must have studied outside Kenya (e.g. Turkey, Uganda or other recognized international institutions).
• Valid professional registration and practicing licence..
• Strong clinical and patient care skills.
• Previous clinical experience is an added advantage.
• Strong diagnostic and patient management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a team environment.
• Availability to start immediately.
