Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Network and Security Engineer with 5 years of experience in designing, implementing, and securing enterprise networks. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Network Designing , network security, firewalls, VPNs, and cloud security, ensuring the integrity and availability of network infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, configure, and manage network security solutions, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and proxies.
Implement and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and load balancers.
Monitor network performance, security threats, and respond to incidents proactively.
Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and risk analysis to ensure network security.
Collaborate with IT teams to enforce security policies and best practices.
Manage security configurations for cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Troubleshoot network connectivity and security-related issues efficiently.
Maintain compliance with industry standards like ISO 27001, NIST, and GDPR.
Document network infrastructure, security policies, and incident reports.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in network security and administration.
Hands-on experience with firewalls (Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Checkpoint).
Strong knowledge of routing and switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, VLANs, STP, etc.).
Expertise in VPN technologies (IPSec, SSL VPN, DMVPN).
Experience with SIEM solutions, IDS/IPS, DLP, and endpoint security.
Familiarity with cloud security in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Knowledge of security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Benchmarks).
Experience with network automation and scripting (Python, Ansible, Terraform) is a plus.
Certifications such as CCNP Security, CEH, CISSP, AWS Security Specialty, or Palo Alto PCNSE are preferred.
Soft Skills:
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
