Job summary
we are a well established Courier Company in Kenya currently looking to fill a position of operation delivery supervisor to be located at our head office.

Scope of Work:
1. Responsible for overall efficient and effective operations regarding pick-up distribution and delivery of parcels and mail (Dispatch office)
2. Ensures all mails and parcels is picked up and delivered from/to all areas in accordance with Company guidelines, customer expectations and government regulations.
3. Ensures safe, efficient and timely handling and transportation of all customer materials.
4. To work with in-house mechanic to ensures that all motorbikes are in good working condition e.g. repairs
5. Works with sales/ customer care team to promote sales growth by advising on customer activities and achieving specific customer call targets
6. Supervises staff; responsible for sourcing,coaching, training, and developing staff.
7. Assigns work, sets completion times, reviews work, and manages performance in accordance with Company policies, procedures, and performance management processes
8. Professional communications with clients, customers, staff, and colleagues by phone and email.
9. Communicate during high stress situations (e.g. missing or lost deliveries, health and safety incidents, etc)
10. Leave planning for all riders,couriers and mechanic and notifying the clients at least 3 days prior.
11. Any other duties as maybe assigned
Minimum qualification.
1) Diploma in operations/purchasing and supply management.
2) Certification in store management or record management will be an added advantage
3) Minimum of three years experience within similar position in a transport company.
4) Computer literate. Can use both word and excel very well.
5) Must have a valid Riding licence.
6) Fluent in both English and Kiswahili.
7) Aged between 28-35 years old.
