Our client, a luxury hotel in Nairobi is looking to recruit a Receptionist . The candidate will play a crucial role in creating a positive first impression for guests. He/she will be responsible for managing the front desk, greeting guests, handling inquiries, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate Must have at least 2 years of experience in the hospitality industry.
Responsibilities:Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly demeanor. Handle check-ins and check-outs efficiently, ensuring a seamless process. Manage reservations and assist guests with any inquiries or special reques Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and handle guest inquiries promptly. Provide accurate information about the hotelâs facilities and services to guests. Maintain and update guest records and reservation information. Handle financial transactions, including processing payments and maintaining accurate records. Assist in the coordination of special events or requests. Ensure guest satisfaction by anticipating and exceeding their needs. Coordinate with other departments to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
QualificationMust at least 2 years of experience as a receptionist in the hospitality sector. Proven experience with hotel management systems Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
