Department: Nursing
Reports To: Nurse In-Charge / Medical Superintendent
The nurse is responsible for providing quality patient-centered care, monitoring patient progress, administering medication, and supporting doctors in treatment procedures while ensuring adherence to hospital policies and patient safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
● Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
● Monitor patient vitals and document observations.
● Administer medications and treatment as prescribed.
● Assist doctors during examinations and procedures.
● Educate patients and families on treatment plans.
● Maintain accurate patient records.
● Ensure infection prevention and control protocols are followed.
● Respond to emergencies and provide first aid when necessary.
Qualifications:
● Diploma/Degree in Nursing.
● Valid nursing license from the relevant regulatory board.
● BLS/ACLS certification is an added advantage.
Experience:
● Minimum 2 years in a hospital setting.
