REVENUE ACCOUNTANT

Reporting to the Chief Finance Officer, the holder of this position will ensure accurate billing, timely collection, reconciliation and reporting of all hospital revenue. The Revenue Accountant will safeguard hospital income, minimize revenue leakage, and ensure compliance with SHA, insurance, and internal billing policies.

Qualifications, Experience, Competencies and Personal Attributes Required:

• 
  
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA(K) preferred.
  
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in revenue/billing in a hospital or busy service environment.
  
• Knowledge of hospital management systems e.g. HMS and SHA billing
  
• Strong analytical and reconciliation skills.
  
• High level of integrity and attention to detail.
  
• Excellent understanding of SHA and insurance billing processes.
  
• Proficient in Excel and accounting software.
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  
• Honest, accountable and ethical.
  
• Team player with customer service orientation.
  
• Proactive and problem-solving mindset.
  
• Ability to translate and communicate biblical values / hospital ethics in personal life and professional life
