Key Responsibilities:
Operational (including Planning)
Project implementations to ensure adherence to plan, specification and timely completion.
Preparation and successful implementation of Technical Specifications and Change Requests as per the change management guidelines.
Configuration changes through Network Change Management process
Manage faults/incidents through network management processes for both network and customer
Daily health checks, preventive maintenance and routine activities such as system backup, health check etc. on regular basis.
Implementation and testing of roaming services
Escalate problems to vendor when necessary in accordance with the time frame within set contracts and within guideline provided by vendor.
Provide relevant report for Network Incidences/Outages
Secures network system by establishing and enforcing policies, defining and monitoring access.
Service KPIs and network performance management
Preparing Reports
Issue regular reports and alerts on signaling and roaming network
Issue regular reports on signaling link availability and utilisation
Issue weekly end to end report on signaling traffic
Academic background & Professional Knowledge:
Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications or a related technical field
CCNA or equivalent
5 years’ experience in managing mobile core network. Experience in roaming networks is an added advantage.
Here Are The Skills We Are Looking For:
Very good understanding of the Telco signaling stacks and call flows. e.g. Sigtran and Diameter.
Network KPI analysis and optimization
Troubleshooting and resolving signaling and roaming Issues
Roaming Testing and Implementation
Experience with Huawei/Ericsson core network equipment (desirable)
