JOB LOCATION: INDUSTRIAL AREA
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate industrial sewing machines and related tailoring equipment efficiently.
- Stitch garments according to approved designs, patterns, and specifications.
- Carry out garment alterations, repairs, and finishing as required.
- Ensure all garments meet quality standards before submission.
- Maintain accuracy, neatness, and consistency in all tailoring work.
- Meet assigned production targets within the required timelines.
- Identify and report machine faults or fabric defects to supervisors.
- Observe workplace safety procedures and proper handling of equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the workstation.
- Work collaboratively with supervisors and fellow production staff to ensure smooth operations.
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Craft Certificate in Tailoring, Dressmaking, Fashion Design, or related field.
- Previous experience in garment manufacturing or tailoring is an added advantage.
- Ability to operate industrial sewing machines.
- Good attention to detail and quality control.
- Ability to work under minimal supervision.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Must be reliable, disciplined, and hardworking.
