We are hiring a tender specialist 4 officers to support our Procurement and Supply Management Team. The tender specialist will ensure contract compliance for procurement and supplier contracts.
Responsibilities include:
• Monitors the tender submission process for formatting, completeness, consistency, and compliance
• Assists in the management of data related to the tendering process
• Ensures all the statutory requirements for the tender application are in place are in place.
• Liaises with suppliers to ensure that the items are delivered on time.
• Makes a consistent follow-up on payment.
• Ensures the completeness and accuracy of contracts done.
• Stays abreast of and communicates any changes in contractual requirements
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Accounting, and marketing related degree or equivalent work experience
• Minimum 5 years of procurement, supply chain, and/or technically relevant work experience
• Extremely conversant with government tenders, the procurement process will be an added advantage.
