Key Responsibilities
Fleet Management
Supervise the company’s fleet of vehicles, ensuring they are well-maintained, roadworthy, and compliant with safety standards.
Plan and schedule vehicle servicing, repairs, and inspections.
Monitor fuel usage, mileage, and overall operating costs.
Operations & Logistics
Develop and implement transport schedules to meet tour itineraries and customer requirements.
Assign drivers and vehicles to trips, ensuring optimal utilization.
Coordinate airport transfers, excursions, and long-distance travel arrangements.
Compliance & Safety
Ensure adherence to transport laws, licensing requirements, and company policies.
Implement safety protocols and conduct regular driver training.
Maintain accurate records of vehicle documentation, insurance, and permits.
Team Leadership
Manage and supervise drivers and support staff.
Conduct performance reviews, training, and motivation programs.
Resolve conflicts and ensure high standards of professionalism.
Customer Service
Work closely with the tours department to align transport services with client expectations.
Handle customer feedback related to transport and resolve issues promptly.
Ensure punctuality, comfort, and reliability in all transport services.
Budgeting & Reporting
Prepare transport budgets and monitor expenses.
Generate reports on fleet performance, utilization, and cost efficiency.
Recommend improvements to reduce costs and enhance service quality.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Transport Management, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in transport/logistics management, preferably in the travel or hospitality industry.
Strong knowledge of fleet management systems and transport regulations.
Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Customer-oriented mindset with problem-solving abilities.
