Job Title: Warehouse Supervisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Warehouse Supervisor to join our team at our building hardware shop. The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and distributing building hardware products. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong leadership skills, and a passion for ensuring the highest levels of accuracy and efficiency in warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities:

● Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management

● Oversee the receiving, storing, and distribution of building hardware products, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all operations

● Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct regular cycle counts and audits, and identify opportunities for process improvements

● Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations, and promote a culture of safety in the warehouse

● Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless inventory management and effective order fulfillment

● Implement and maintain warehouse management systems and procedures to improve the efficiency and accuracy of operations

● Monitor and report on key performance indicators, such as inventory accuracy, order fulfillment, and on-time delivery

● Manage the maintenance and upkeep of warehouse equipment and facilities

● Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives and process improvements

Qualifications:

● High school diploma or equivalent, with additional education or certification in warehouse management or a related field preferred

● Proven experience in warehouse management, preferably in a retail or hardware environment

● Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills

● Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail

● Knowledge of warehouse management systems and procedures

● Familiarity with building hardware products and materials is a plus

● Ability to work independently and as part of a team

● Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other warehouse management software
