Job summary
The accountant will Ensure accurate financial reporting, effective cash flow management, statutory compliance, and robust financial controls while supporting business decision-making through financial analysis and process improvement. Requires strong knowledge of accounting principles, ERP systems, and management reporting.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Reporting: Prepare financial statements, cash flow forecasts, and management reports; support budgeting and variance analysis.
Financial Analysis & Business Support: Track gross margin and profitability trends; monitor product/customer/channel profitability; develop dashboards and provide insights.
Statutory Compliance & Governance: File statutory returns; coordinate audits; maintain clarity and accuracy in reporting.
ERP Systems & Process Management: Maintain transactions in ERP; drive process efficiency; develop SOPs; support ERP enhancements.
Accounting & Bookkeeping: Oversee GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, and bank reconciliations; support month/quarter/year-end closing; maintain organized records.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Timely completion of monthly accounts
Accuracy of cash flow forecasts
Gross margin reporting accuracy
Zero statutory penalties
Month-end closing within timelines
ERP process adherence
Audit findings resolved promptlyQualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field
Professional qualification preferred (CPA, ACCA, CIMA, CA)
Minimum 5 years in accounting/finance
FMCG, manufacturing, dairy, or distribution experience preferred
Strong background in reporting, analysis, and cash flow management
ERP systems experience (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, Odoo, Sage, NetSuite, etc.)Required Skills & Competencies
Technical: Advanced accounting, P&L/Balance Sheet/Cash Flow knowledge, forecasting, costing, financial modeling, ERP proficiency
Behavioral: Analytical mindset, process orientation, attention to detail, interpersonal skills, ability to meet deadlines independently
Experience Level: 5–8 years
Industry Preference: FMCG / Dairy / Manufacturing / Distribution
ERP Exposure: Mandatory
Professional Qualification: Preferred
