Job Description/Requirements
Key Responsibilities:

Sales and Client Acquisition:

Promote Tinga’s range of agricultural equipment and services to individual farmers, cooperatives, and agribusinesses.

Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve branch targets.

Maintain relationships with existing clients and identify opportunities for upselling additional services.

Marketing and Outreach:

Organize and participate in farmer training sessions, field demonstrations, and agricultural fairs.

Collaborate with local agricultural extension officers to disseminate information about Tinga’s offerings.

Partnership Development:

Establish and nurture partnerships with NGOs, SACCOs, and government agencies to expand Tinga’s reach.

Engage with community leaders to promote group leasing models and collective farming initiatives.

Gather feedback from clients to inform service improvements.

Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.

Prepare regular reports on sales performance and market insights.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Agribusiness, Marketing, Agricultural Economics, or a related field.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in agricultural sales, marketing, or extension services.

Strong understanding of the agricultural landscape in Narok County, including key crops like potatoes, maize, and wheat.

Proficiency in using digital tools and platforms for marketing and client engagement.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English and Kiswahili; knowledge of local languages is an advantage.

Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the county.
