Job Mission
We are seeking motivated and resourceful individuals to join our team as call center agents. In this role, you would be responsible for confirming placement from trained jobseekers by making outbound calls to BrighterMonday soft skills alumni to inquire about their employment status.
Reporting to: Call Center Lead
Direct Reports: None
Key Responsibilities
- Make outbound calls to Brightermonday Kenya’s trained alumni to inquire about their employment status.
- Verify if the alumni have secured employment, received a promotion at work, or started a business upon completion of the soft skills training.
- Record and maintain accurate records of all communication with alumni.
- Act in a professional and courteous manner during all calls which may include ensuring satisfying responses to their questions and concerns.
- Send progress reports to the Brightermonday placement and partnership team.
- Attend CRM (Customer Relationship Management) training sessions and upskilling sessions
- Meet and exceed established call targets and goals within specified timelines

Requirements / Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a call center environment (outbound calling experience is highly preferred).
- A Diploma in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Communications, Customer Service, or a related discipline).
- Proven experience in customer service, telesales, or customer support roles.
- Strong proficiency in CRM systems and call management tools is an added advantage.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Swahili.
- Demonstrated ability to handle high call volumes while maintaining professionalism and accuracy.
- Strong data entry and record-keeping skills with high attention to detail.
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and build rapport with diverse individuals.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and customer focus.
