Customer Care and Marketing Co-ordinator
Job summary
This role is responsible for developing marketing plans for assigned products, creating and reviewing promotional campaigns and materials, managing the sourcing, procurement, and delivery of marketing materials, and overseeing digital marketing for the Client’s website and handling customer complaints and inquiries.
Job descriptions & requirements
1. Marketing Support (50%)
a. Develop marketing plans – Developing marketing plans with clear strategies and tactics focused on achieving the overall sales and product positioning in line with the defined strategic goals of the company and submission of these to the Head of Sales and Marketing. Ensure marketing plans have forecast quantities in line with market demand.
b. Development of the marketing calendar – Create the Client’s marketing calendar updated with activities such as congresses, CMEs, webinars etc., seek approval of the same from HOD and support the sales & marketing team on the design and set up of the conference and exhibitions booths.
c. Design and production of Marketing material – In collaboration with our various partners and agencies, the Marketing and customer care coordinator will be responsible for the design process and production of the various marketing materials for the different product lines (both print and e-materials).
d. Digital Marketing – Client’s Website;
- Develop a content plan and update the website with relevant content as per content plan/calendar developed.
- Use appropriate analytical tools to optimize online presence.
- Identify digital trends and insights to analyze customer trends.
- Brainstorming on fresh creative ideas to improve search-engine rankings and online advertising ideas for the website.
- SEO planning for the website and perform any other SEO related tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
- Develop social media presence on social media platforms as advised e.g., Instagram, LinkedIn.
- Plan and execute marketing campaigns online.
- Analyzing Client’s website click to purchase conversion rates and the effectiveness of promotions to determine what drives sales.
2. Customer Care and Tender Management (50%)
a. Communicate and build relationships with Customers (esp. Top 20) – With a special focus on the approved list of the top 20 customers, the Marketing and customer care coordinator will ensure that these clients' needs are collected on a regular basis and serviced in a reasonably adequate time.
b. Tenders and Quotations – In close collaboration with Head of sales and marketing and Finance the Marketing and Customer care Co-Ordinator will be responsible for Quotations and preparations of Tender documents.
c. Advise on existing and anticipated needs of the future of the customers – regularly update customers of in-house stock availability, and short-dated and out of stock goods.
d. Customer care support – Receiving of Complaints, Acknowledgement of complaints, forwarding the complaint to the Company Pharmacist, forwarding the complaint feedback to the complainant, contribute as a member of the Complaint Committee team.
3. Education and skills:
- A bachelor's degree in marketing, business related course or life sciences, or any related field is typically required.
- 3-5 years experience in similar position of tender management preferable in a pharmaceutical company.
- Good communication skills and maturity
