About the Role

We are seeking a creative and proactive Digital Marketing Assistant Intern with strong video editing skills and a solid interest in digital marketing. This internship offers an immersive opportunity to contribute to content creation and digital campaigns within a collaborative team environment.

The role is based at our offices on Kiambu Road and is full-time. It is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in digital marketing while building a compelling portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

Video Editing & Content Creation

Edit and produce high-quality video content for social media, websites, and email campaigns

Incorporate motion graphics, captions, transitions, and other effects to enhance viewer engagement

Collaborate with the marketing team to develop visuals that align with brand messaging

Support the management and optimization of YouTube and short-form video platforms

Digital Marketing Support

Assist in executing social media strategies across platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn

Draft copy for social media posts and support the scheduling and publishing of content

Contribute to the creation and optimization of blog posts, newsletters, and digital campaigns

Monitor digital metrics and generate basic performance reports

Research & Strategic Input

Conduct market and competitor research to inform campaign development

Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate content and campaign ideas

Support planning and coordination of content calendars

Candidate Profile
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related fieldProficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Canvas, or CapCutFamiliarity with digital marketing tools and social media platformsStrong written and verbal communication skillsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailA proactive attitude with the ability to work independently and within a team
